İpek Selek Adıgüzel returned to Turkey after graduating from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree with a double major in Industrial Engineering and Economics. After working for a while in important brands of the fashion industry, she turned to different pursuits outside the corporate environment. During his trip to India during this period, he met the mantra "Om mani padme hum", the jewel in the lotus, and started the process of realizing his dreams. This mantra, which speaks of a snow-white lotus flower growing in a swamp, and the layered petals of the lotus flower symbolize the awakening of consciousness and rebirth for İpek Selek Adıgüzel.
Because of her interest in jewelry, designing jewelry became more than a hobby for her, it became a passion. In order to fully devote herself to her work and design the products of her dreams, she moved away from corporate life and started working in a jewelry workshop in the Grand Bazaar. In addition to these studies, she completed jewelry, diamond and colored stone trainings at GIA(Gemological Institute of America) and received the title of AJP, Accredited Jewellery Professional.
In 2014, İpek Selek Adıgüzel created Padme Designs, inspired by the mantra "Om mani padme hum" that guided her on her journey. Equipped with 14K gold and precious stones, the jewels become integrated with their owner over time and become "Daily Reminders" in the hustle and bustle of daily life. She integrates the ideas that are a source of motivation and happiness for her with her designs for those seeking inner peace...
